YIT and BORENIUS spoke about how to implement an investment and construction project in the context of a joint venture
On 20 March, the Russian-German Foreign Trade Chamber hosted a joint seminar of YIT and Borenius Russia on the topic: “Implementing an investment project in the context of setting up a joint venture”.
During the seminar, the attendees discussed offers on the industrial real estate market of St Petersburg and Leningrad Region for implementing an investment project in the context of creating a joint venture, and what aspects will allow an investor to mitigate the risks of the project and to enhance its economic efficiency.
Maya Petrova, a Partner and the Head of the Real Estate & Construction Practice at Borenius Russia, looked into the details of selecting a land plot and structuring relationships with the participants in the investment and construction project. Irina Dudareva, an Associate in the firm’s Transactions & Corporate Law Practice, delivered a speech about the advantages of a corporate agreement as a means of protecting the interests of the parties in an investment and construction project. Artem Zhavoronkov, a Specialist Partner at Borenius Russia, delved into the acute issues of sanctions and how they affect projects and macroeconomic issues of investors.
