Borenius Russia improves its position in The Legal 500 EMEA 2019

The Legal 500, the international legal rankings directory, has released the results of its annual research into legal services across the EMEA region. Borenius Russia features in the lists of legal market leaders in the areas of Corporate Law, M&A and Real Estate & Construction, while the firm is recommended in Dispute Resolution. The Legal 500 offered the assessment that Borenius Russia’s team is ‘responsive, practical and flexible’.

Our Transactions and Corporate Law Practice has maintained its strong position in the second tier of the Corporate and M&A category in St. Petersburg and elsewhere. Specialist Partner and Head of the Transactions & Corporate Law Practice Alexey Nikitin was singled out by The Legal 500, receiving the title of Next generation lawyer, while Andrei Gusev, the Managing Partner in Russia, was recognized by the directory for his enormous experience in the field of investment.

Borenius Russia has gained recognition in the Real Estate & Construction category within Russia. According to The Legal 500, Specialist Partner and Head of the firm’s practice group in this area Maya Petrova “has strong investment project expertise and frequently handles title due diligence, contract drafting and real estate transactions”.

Our Dispute Resolution Practice this year has improved its position, being placed in the fifth tier, The Legal 500 rating recommends the practice for Litigation in Russia.
