10 main rules from the Plenum of the Supreme Court concerning IP / Pravo.ru

The legal community continues to work on the draft resolution of the Plenum of the Supreme Court (the “Plenum”) concerning intellectual rights. On 11 April, the Plenum considered the draft and sent it back to be improved. Yet on 18 April, the Presidential Codification Council assessed the draft in positive terms. According to legal scholars, the draft reflects all the main issues that courts face when they resolve IP cases.

Aleksei Gribanov, Head of the Intellectual Property and TMT Practice, and Vera Zotova, a Russian patent attorney and an Associate in the Intellectual Property and TMT Practice, provided their comments on the overview by Pravo.ru of the most interesting and valuable provisions of the draft resolution of the Supreme Court concerning IP rights.
