SPIBA’s Marketing and Communications Committee has held a discussion about ‘How to build a community around a brand, and work effectively with bloggers and influencers with a profit for business?’.

On 3 June at the Domina St. Petersburg Hotel, business advancement specialists, marketing experts and community managers gathered to discuss the main intricacies in working with bloggers and to analyze the successful practice of their peers.

Vera Zotova, an Associate from the Intellectual Property and Information Technologies Practice at Borenius Russia, told participants about the legal risks of working with brands and bloggers/influencers. She also covered the subtleties of documenting relationships and the risks associated with the bad-faith use of a brand in advertising.
