To attract new customers and to retain old ones, retail makes extensive use of digital technologies. In the process, legal risks arise which need to be handled appropriately. Unless you do this, your business can suffer from having fines imposed, services blocked and reputational damage sustained.

Aleksei Gribanov, Head of our Intellectual Property and Information Technology Practice, told the Internet portal how retail can mitigate the legal risks relating to the use of Wi-Fi analytics, video analytics, Bluetooth beacons, and solutions based on Big Data, as well as when mobile applications are developed.
