Borenius Russia has the pleasure of announcing the appointment as Specialist Partners of Arina Dovzhenko, the Head of our Real Estate & Construction Practice, and Anna Zabrotskaya, Attorney-at-Law, who is the Head of both the Dispute Resolution Practice and the Fashion & Lux Practice at the firm.
Moreover, Irina Dudareva, a member of the Transactions & Corporate Law Practice and Artyom Berlin, a member of the Transactions & Corporate Law and Dispute Resolution Practices, have been appointed as Senior Associates.
Arina Dovzhenko advises clients on complicated issues of structuring international transactions, mainly those with real estate and land plots, including new construction projects and the expansion/renovation of existing production and retail facilities, as well as asset management. Arina also has a profound expertise in the field of town planning and land issues as well as remarkable experience in the field of structuring construction projects (residential, commercial, and industrial construction). She advises clients on various aspects of transactions in real estate, construction, and the renovation and leasing of commercial space, while she also helps clients to implement investment projects. Arina provides support to construction contracts, sale, rental and other contracts. Arina has a long-standing extensive practice under her belt of advising clients on a wide range of commercial and civil law matters: her expertise includes working at foreign consulting companies, as an in-house counsel for Russian and foreign companies, and also in the notarial field.
Anna Zabrotskaya represents domestic and international clients in proceedings before Russian commercial (‘arbitrazhny’) courts and courts of general jurisdiction of all levels, as well as in international commercial arbitration under the rules of ICAC, LCIA, SCC and other arbitration institutions. Anna has extensive experience in coordinating parallel proceedings and working with lawyers in foreign jurisdictions on matters concerning arbitration or litigation in Russia and abroad. These include the enforcement of court orders, preparation or receipt of legal opinions, imposition of interim measures, and the recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards and judgements.
Irina Dudareva advises Russian and foreign clients on corporate, commercial, employment and migration matters within a wide range of projects including M&A transactions. Prior to joining the corporate practice, Irina specialized in the legal support of investment projects based on the public-private partnership and concession mechanisms, while she also advised on corporate issues arising during the implementation of investment projects.
Artyom Berlin advises clients on issues related to employment and tax law as well as international private law. Artyom works on projects that involve structuring and supporting procedures for optimizing companies’ organizational structures. Artyom also represents Russian and foreign companies in Russian courts and in international commercial arbitration (before the International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce (ICAC), and the International Court of Arbitration at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Court)). Artyom’s experience includes contractor and distribution disputes, corporate conflicts, and challenging unlawful actions of public authorities.
