Experts on business emigration: “A Russian citizen faces a huge number of problems, even if they are not of his making” / Commentary / Business FM
The substitution of civil liability by criminal prosecution, unjustified detention using the general formulation “the crime is outside the scope of business activity,” as well as the imposition of the most stringent restrictions based on unsubstantiated statements that the suspect intends to flee. This issue was discussed at the completed conference “In St Petersburg – LAW”.
Andrei Gusev, Managing Partner at Borenius Russia, spoke in an interview with Business FM radio about Interpol as an institution that lawyers need to know how to deal with when they handle extradition cases involving a businessman.
