  • Represented a Danish national who lives in the UK with respect to his inheritance of property of his deceased mother in St Petersburg, including within the context of an inheritance dispute in Russian courts
  • Represented, at all stages of the court proceedings, a senior manager of a Swiss subsidiary bank in Moscow in a lawsuit seeking to have him reinstated to his employment position and to have his dismissal invalidated
  • Represented a Russian national who was a UK resident in a dispute over the payment of dividends. The case was complicated by the cross-border transfer from Russia to the UK, which was governed by applicable bank policies and foreign currency control
  • Represented and advised the former general director of a Russian carmaker throughout the entire process of the termination of employment and corporate relationships with the company, including in criminal proceedings (participated in an interrogation and devised the client’s position, among other things)
  • Mediated during the divorce and division of property of a married couple with considerable assets in Russia, the EU and the UK, and provided, among other things, assistance with settling guardianship with respect to a minor son and obtaining an investment residence permit in a developed country
